Welcome to The Peace Filled Doula — I’m Bethany Hatfield.
Born and raised in the Fort Bend area, I’m a former junior high special education teacher and now a full-time mom to two daughters.
Motherhood, education, and supporting families have always been close to my heart. As a birth doula, I bring these passions together to walk alongside parents, helping them make informed choices, feel confident, and create a peaceful, empowered birth experience.
It’s my honor to be a calm, steady presence throughout every family’s journey.
Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him.

Doulas are trained to provide continuous physical, emotional, and informational support throughout labor and delivery. Additionally, doulas advocate for families and help facilitate communication between the family and their caregiver.

Research has shown that women who have doula support are more likely to be satisfied with their birth experience and have significantly higher rates of successful breastfeeding.

Research has also shown that women who have doula support are less likely to have a variety of interventions during their birth, including caesareans, forceps/vacuum assistance, induction of labor, and pain medications.
